Music Lessons

Hartshorn-Walton Music offers musical instruction in the Durham region, for all levels from beginner to undergraduate university students. We offer classical instruction on the following instruments: guitar, trumpet, trombone, tuba, voice, piano. We also offer jazz lessons for bass guitar, upright bass, piano and brass including tuba. NEW THIS YEAR the Harmony Musical Theatre Audition Training Program. Please contact us for more information on this program which provides training in voice, dance and drama as we prepare to present The Nutcracker in December 2011.

Some of the professional instructors we work with in and around the GTA and Durham region are: Mélanie Harshorn (guitar / voice) Keith Walton (tuba / electric and acoustic bass / jazz piano), Joanne Averill-Rocha (flute).

For beginners we cover an even wider range of instruments. Hartshorn-Walton Music offer clinics and workshops to individuals and groups. These may be tailored to meet your needs. We also offer courses in jazz and classical musical theory and arranging.
